Shutter Materials & Colours
Our Premium Hardwood Range
To ensure your shutters reach you in immaculate condition, the wood we use for every shutter is specially stored during the manufacturing process. By drying and treating the hardwood we avoid the risk of twisting and warping which natural materials are prone to, giving you peace of mind.
We currently offer 3 hardwood options:
Cuba
The Cuba is our entry level hardwood range which combines a premium robust MDF frame with lightweight hardwood panels and louvres.
Fiji
Our Fiji shutters are ideal for those that like natural textures as they are made from premium Paulownia which has a very distinctive grain. A sustainable hardwood harvested every 7-10 years, the Fiji option comes with a variety of stains and paint colours to choose from.
Samoa
New to Wooden Shutters Fife, the Samoa is our deluxe range made from responsibly sourced white teak for stained finishes or premium ayous wood for a painted finish. The Samoa range offers the widest range of colour options and can be fitted with a hidden hinge.
Our ABS & MDF Range
This range is ideal for busy family homes, where it is necessary to have hardwearing and robust shutters to to stand up to daily wear and tear. The ABS range offers a waterproof option whilst the MDF range provides a durable way of controlling privacy and light.
For this range we have 3 options:
Antigua
Antigua is made from high quality MDF and is our entry level shutter range. It provides a robust and hardwearing option as the Antigua is covered in a patented polymer coating.
